After leaving Oxford Brookes University in 2002, where he studied Planning, Jesse joined DPDS Consulting Group and worked within a diverse multi-disciplinary team. He worked on a number of projects including undertaking research into the development potential of a number of sites on behalf of the then Government Office for the South East and working on the strategic neighbourhood expansion of a number of settlements, including Broadbridge Heath in Horsham District.
In 2005 Jesse moved to WS Planning where he gained extensive experience in different areas of planning and worked on a number of commercial and residential projects for a wide range of clients including private individuals, developers and a number Local Planning Authorities, where he was assigned as a case officer dealing with applications and appeals including Epsom and Ewell Borough Council, Sevenoaks District Council and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
Jesse joined D&M Planning in May 2007 and has worked on a wide range of projects and planning matters including:
- Preparing and handling appeals for a wide range of projects including commercial, residential, agricultural, equestrian developments, changes of use and enforcement appeals
- Preparing, submitting and overseeing planning applications on a wide range of developments and changes of use including preparing, submitting and overseeing residential and commercial developments, Listed Building Consent applications, Conservation Area consent applications, advertisement consent applications, applications for Certificates of Lawfulness of Existing Use and / or Development (CLEUD) and Certificates of Lawfulness of Proposed Use and / or Development (CLOPUD)
- Undertaking site appraisals and offering advice to clients on a wide range of planning matters including development potential and changes of use;
- Making representations to Local Planning Authorities and appearing at Examinations in Public for the release of land for development.
Jesse is married with two children and in his spare time undertakes duty as a parent governor at the Ridgeway School in Farnham.
