D&M Planning Ltd are proud to have successfully argued at appeal for the redevelopment of an existing car garage to provide 2 residential properties alongside extensions to the building. The Council had refused the application predominately on the basis of design. However, Matt was able to successfully argue that the proposed roof extension would respect the character of the area and comply with Government policy to encourage upward extensions.

The client is now able to convert the building and achieve two flatted properties providing much needed housing for the borough which is significantly under delivering in its supply of homes.
