Craig began his career in planning with Waverley Borough Council in 2001 as a Planning Technician. This role included checking and validating planning applications, undertaking necessary planning application consultations, researching planning histories and carrying out permitted development enquiries.
In 2005, Craig was appointed Compliance Officer within Waverley’s Planning Enforcement Team. He was involved in the investigation of planning breaches, carrying out site inspections, checking whether developments were implemented in accordance with planning approvals and that conditions were complied with. As a result he often acted as an intermediary between applicants and complainants. He also has experience in the preparation and serving of Breach of Condition Notices, Enforcement Notices and Planning Contravention Notices.
He now forms the backbone of our technical support team, putting his Local Government experience to good use in the private sector. < Back |
