D&M wins appeal for a roofed horse walker in the Green Belt

The D&M Planning Partnership has been successful in winning a Planning Appeal for a roofed horse walker, measuring 20 metres in diameter and 3.3 metres in height, located within the Green Belt at Chobham, Surrey.

The Inspector agreed with D&M Planning that the horse walker represents an appropriate form of development and that it would not prejudice the openness of the Green Belt or have a harmful impact upon the rural character and appearance of the area.

The success of this appeal was a feature in Planning Magazine (30 October 2009).
