D&M secure planning permission for the change of use of drinking establishment and restaurant to educational facility in Guildford

The D&M Planning Partnership have been successful in obtaining planning permission for the change of use of the first and second floors of the former Yates's public house and restaurant (Use Class A3 and A4) Bridge Street, Guildford to an educational facility (Use Class D1) for the Academy of Contemporary Music.

The Council considered the proposed use would not detract from the character and appearance of the application premises and surrounding Conservation Area and the amenities of the occupiers of adjoining properties would not be prejudiced.
