D&M secure planning permission for Class B2 / B8 building and external gantry crane

Planning permission has been granted for the erection of a 630 square metre, 7.5 metre high B8 / B2 (Storage and Distribution / General Industrial) building and a 7.0 metre high external gantry crane at Wootton St. Lawrence, Basingstoke.

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council found that the development, despite its size, mass, scale and bulk would not have a harmful impact upon the open countryside or upon the adjacent Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and would be of benefit to the existing commercial site.
