D&M wins two appeals for new dwellings in Fareham, Hampshire

D&M Planning have been successful in winning two separate appeals for the same site in Fareham, Hampshire.

The two separate permissions related to the erection of 5 and 6 dwellings within the urban area of Fareham, replacing an existing chalet bungalow. The Council's principal concern was the scale and density of the proposed development. The Inspector considered that the proposals represented efficient and effective use of the site and would not cause any material harm to the character of the area.
