D&M wins appeal for new dwellings in Farnham, Surrey

D&M Planning have been successful in obtaining two separate planning permissions for a site in south Farnham, Surrey, for 3 large detached dwellings and 8 smaller properties.

The permissions were won at appeal despite significant local opposition. The principal issues were impact on the character of the area, making best use of the site, impact on the amenity of neighbouring properties and flood risk. The Inspector considered that both schemes were in keeping with the area and would result in no harm to interests of acknowledged importance.
